Fish Report

Jacksonville Fishing Charter, Weather No Comments »

When will the wind and weather let up???? We need a few days of warm, calm weather. We did manage to get out Sunday for a day of trolling for trout. Ended up with about 20 in just a couple of hours.

Went out yesterday for another day and started out looking for reds, but the wind had another idea in mind?? We went back to trout fishing and had another day with 25 trout and a flounder. The water is cold and clean in the marsh. With the rain lately the trout are back in the marsh.

Offshore the black bass are on fire. Catches reported were good yesterday in the short window before the wind started blowing AGAIN!!!

Nor’easter, go away

It looks like mother nature is not going to let us fish this weekend offshore. Have some good folks coming in from N.C. to go offshore on Sat. but it may not happen. No fishing now for over a week offshore with the northeaster and now another session of bad weather through the weekend.

With all this passing the bottom fishing should be good and wahoo season is coming up fast. Inshore the creeks should be great with the water cooling, just need the weather to cooperate.

Finally, we are open for business and ready to go fishing. The water is cooling off and the inshore Reds and Trout will be turning on soon in the shallow waters. The wind and rain has stopped for now and the seas should start to be more friendly(if we don’t get another northeaster?????)

Call for dates available!!!
